"Great property right off the freeway. Easy parking with excellent bright lighting. Check-in was fast. Owner politely offered to store our expensive bikes (two) in a locked storage area for no additional charge. The morning attendant (Christie) was very helpful in checking us out, and retrieving our bikes. All and all, a great stay. We will be back!"

"The breakfast was so good and with many options. It was mostly the usual hot breakfast items with a few extras to make it excellent. A flavored water option, biscuit sandwiches could be created, fresh yogurt, and even a fun Texas shaped waffle for the kids. I especially enjoyed the bedroom. The dividing curtain was a nice touch to give the feeling of privacy, separating the King bed from the sofa bed where my kids slept. The small kitchenette was stocked well and the fridge was a great size!"

"I drove from Houston Texas to Amarillo Texas and needed a comfortable night stay in a relaxing hotel. This hotel met all of my qualifications and needs. About my biggest gripe with the place was that their ice machines were not working right. All things considered this place was wonderful. If you ever need a place to stay in Amarillo Texas the Westerner is the best place to go."
